The 5 Position 6-Hole Channel, part #31-CTA-CB6, provides a weld-on adjustable coupler mount built for heavy-duty towing. When matched with properly rated couplers, hardware, and trailer components, it supports up to 14,000 lbs.
This channel bracket is ideal for trailers that require tongue height adjustment. For example, it works well on equipment trailers, dump trailers, car haulers, and heavy utility trailers. You weld it to a straight or fabricated tongue. Then, you bolt the channel-mount coupler securely in place.
With five mounting positions, the bracket offers up to 8 inches of vertical adjustment. Overall height measures 11-1/2 inches. Meanwhile, the 3-inch inside width accepts standard adjustable coupler heads and towing attachments. The six mounting holes measure 5/8 inch in diameter, with 2-inch center-to-center spacing. In addition, the heavy 2-1/4 inch channel thickness provides a solid mount and minimizes flex under load.
