The 2″ Ball  A-Frame Coupler, 5,000 lb BLACK, part #31-CA-5100-B, delivers a strong hitch connection for standard A-frame trailers. This coupler fits a 2-inch trailer hitch ball and handles up to 5,000 lbs gross trailer weight on everyday towing jobs. It provides a dependable link between your trailer and tow vehicle.

This A-frame coupler mounts to the A-frame style trailer tongue that comes to a point at the front. It welds directly onto the steel frame of utility trailers, landscape trailers, equipment trailers, and cargo trailers. The design works with the 50-degree angle found on most A-frame tongues, so you get a secure fit every time.

The coupler uses a trigger-style latch for easy hookup and release. You pull the trigger, place the coupler over the hitch ball, and push down until the latch locks in place. A 5/16″ diameter hole allows you to add a coupler lock for extra security on long trips.
